What does it mean to be legally healthy in the business world? No matter what stage of life your service business is int, it's important to not only know what legally healthy means, but how to maintain it. Here's a few things you should be doing: 1️⃣ File an Annual Report with the State of Florida (your entity will be administratively dissolved if you don’t!). 2️⃣ Prepare Annual Meeting minutes – for Directors and for Shareholders. * NOTE: For LLCs, this is not required but it’s good business practice to do it for Managers and/or Members of the LLC. 3️⃣ Keep all books and records of your business separate from your personal books and records. 4️⃣ Do not co-mingle personal funds with business funds. Business funds should pay for business expenses and personal funds should pay for personal expenses. Separate bank accounts are a must! What else? Well, read our legal journal for the full breakdown and see you compare. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eV8_2zJX

BUSINESS 301 After your have registered that Business Name or LLC, what do you do with the business entity? 1. Give it an identity as expected by law; this means you create a business profile for it. This business entity is now regarded in law as a person. 2. Give it financial autonomy; open a business bank account and let business money move in the business entity account while your personal money stays in your personal account. 3. Update your business at the CAC, but filling Annual Returns and Statement of Affairs every year between January and March. If your business is still just a certificate locked up in your box, still file NIL Annual Returns anyways. This is what keeps your business entity alive and active. 4. To be continued.... Meanwhile you can contact us at Hennis Group 09044752750, hennisltd@aol.com to get needed business development advisory services.

Oga Chima, don’t you think it’s time you stopped having second thoughts about registering your business? Like I said before, you've got nothing to lose by registering your business, you truly stand to gain the most. If you’re thinking about the tax that you’ll have to start paying if you register your business, have you thought about all you'll be missing out on if you don’t? Remember that most funding opportunities often have business registration as a requirement. What about the contracts you won’t be able to access because your company does not have a corporate account? When it's time to collect that contract and you’re asked to provide your business account what will you do? Have you stopped to think about your business name that will be hijacked by someone else because you’ve not registered it? What about the legal protection you’ll miss out on if you don’t register? Don’t forget that registering your business helps protect your personal assets, so your business debts won't come knocking on your door. Oga Chima, just take a moment to consider what you stand to gain by registering your business name, company and NGO today. I’m only a DM away if you have more questions about the registration process.
