🌿 Starting 2025 with Wonder at Zoo Negara 🌿 As a lawyer, my life often revolves around paperwork and deadlines, but if you put me near wildlife, I become a completely different person. The moment I bump into animals—whether it’s in a zoo or the wild—I react like a small kid, completely captivated by their beauty and presence. Spending New Year’s Day at Zoo Negara was like hitting the reset button. Being surrounded by wildlife brought back a deep sense of joy I haven’t felt in a while. It reminded me of those childhood visits to the zoo with my parents. Wildlife has always been a part of me, and I’m grateful for spaces like Zoo Negara that let us connect with these amazing creatures. One moment that stood out was watching a giraffe, effortlessly stretching its neck to reach the treetops. Its grace and elegance were breathtaking—a perfect reminder of how incredible the natural world is. But visiting the zoo isn’t just about reliving memories. It’s also about understanding the importance of conservation. These animals deserve more than admiration—they need action. Whether it’s supporting conservation programs, educating others, or just being more mindful, every effort counts. If you love wildlife like I do, what’s a moment that left you in awe? Let’s start 2025 by sharing stories and committing to protect the things that inspire us. #NewYear2025 #ZooNegara #WildlifePassion #ConservationMatters #RawAndReal

Adik: The Pink-Backed Pelican Adik, the pink-backed pelican, is a fascinating bird found in Africa's wetlands. This beautiful pelican is known for its soft pink feathers, especially during the breeding season, when it looks its most vibrant. Adik has a large bill with a unique pouch, which it uses to catch fish. Pelicans like Adik often hunt in groups, working together to trap fish in shallow waters. This teamwork makes them successful hunters and helps them find enough food to survive. Social by nature, Adik enjoys the company of other pelicans. They often engage in playful activities and elaborate courtship displays to attract mates. Adik builds its nest near water, using twigs and leaves to create a safe place for its eggs. However, Adik faces challenges due to habitat loss and pollution in its environment. Protecting wetlands is crucial for the survival of pink-backed pelicans like Adik. By conserving these habitats, we can help ensure that future generations will admire these magnificent birds. Adik serves as a reminder of the beauty and importance of wildlife in our world. #wildlife #zookeeper #birds
