Fine Wines - Bordeaux led weekly trade, followed by Burgundy, the USA and Champagne  Bordeaux’s share of traded value decreased from 33.1% last week to 29.6% this week. Fine Wines | Secondary Market | Bordeaux - Bordeaux further asserted its dominance on the secondary market, its trade share rising from 40.2% to 48.2%. - Burgundy came in second with 18.8% of weekly trade by value, followed by Champagne which reclaimed third place after a difficult week last week. The region’s share of trade almost doubled from 6.3% to 12.5% this week. Fine Wines - Bordeaux rebounds as other regions dip  Bordeaux dominated trade this week, all other regions experiencing a dip except for the Rhône and Piedmont.   Bordeaux’s share of trade rebounded for the seven days ending 14th of December, rising to 41.3% from 27.5% last week. As a result, most other regions’ trade shares declined week-on-week. Burgundy went from 27.5% to just 21.0% of the total this week. Fine Wines - Bordeaux regains market share with 45.0%  During the first week of 2024, Bordeaux reclaimed its position at the top to hold 45.0% of total trade by value, up from the previous week’s share of 29.2%. In contrast, Burgundy lost some momentum, concluding the seven days ending on January 4th at 9.34%, marking the most substantial decline out of the regions for the week.  Tuscany came in second this week, surpassing both Burgundy and Champagne to secure 18.8% of regional trade by value. Burgundy followed with 20.7% of trade, a slight uptick on last week’s 20.0%.
