I just read an article about LEWA GmbH new #G3E triplex #diaphragm_pump, and I’m impressed by its monoblock design. It’s specifically engineered for #low-pulsation metering of ammonia in dual-fuel marine engines. The fact that it can reach pressures of up to 400 bar while reducing operational costs with fewer components is a game-changer for efficiency and reliability in fuel supply systems. Our commitment to sustainability at Proferro begins with our processes. 🧐📚 Therefore, we continuously invest in advanced technologies that allow us to be more energy efficient. 🌍 One of the ways we realize this is by saving energy on the extraction process of our cupola furnace. Our extraction system consists of a turbine that is coupled to an electric motor that draws exhaust gases and fine dust from the cupola furnace, which prevents them from entering the atmosphere. 👍 Meanwhile, a frequency converter varies the speed of the motor according to several measurements. This results in reduced emissions of fine dust as well as energy savings of approximately 60% on the extraction process compared to a motor without a frequency converter. 👌 #proferro #sustainability #readyforthefuture
