Here are the components of the fluid end and how they work in the context of the pump operation you described: Fluid End Components: 1. Liner: A cylindrical sleeve that houses the piston assembly and guides the movement of the piston. 2. Piston Assembly: Comprising the pony rod and piston rod, the piston assembly moves linearly inside the liner to create pressure and push the drilling fluid. 3. Crosshead: Connects the connecting rods to the piston assembly and converts the angular movement from the rods into linear motion. 4. Connecting Rods: Transmit motion from the crankshaft to the crosshead in a harmonic and consecutive manner. 5. Crankshaft: Meshes with the pinion shaft and transfers motion to the connecting rods. 6.
