Perfect time to share this insightful post, this morning I came across a study analyzing 58,000 work hours across 11 companies that revealed something remarkable about workplace dynamics: 📈 Sit near a high performer? Your performance could IMPROVE by 15% 📉 Sit near a low performer? Your performance might DECREASE by 30% This perfectly captures something I've always intuitively known: the people around you MATTER. Emotions are contagious, and negative emotions spread faster than positive ones. This research underscores a critical leadership principle: Your professional environment isn't just about physical space—it's about energy, attitude, and potential. Intentionally curate your professional circle. Surround yourself with people who: Inspire you Challenge you Elevate your mindset Motivate you to become the best version of yourself I’m grateful to work with an uplifting and positive team and leader. Have you experienced this "performance proximity" effect? I'd love to hear your stories! #ProfessionalDevelopment #WorkplaceCulture #PersonalGrowth #Leadership

The juggle is real... Last night, I felt quite overwhelmed as my to-do list kept growing longer. I thought I had everything planned for our new puppy Toto's arrival, scheduling coaching and workplace wellness consulting sessions when my husband was working from home to help with the transition. But then the admin work piled up, and dealing with an #endometriosis flare on top of it all made things more challenging. In times like this, it's easy to get caught up in the chaos, but I turned to a mindset shift that’s served me well: If it’s to be, it’s down to me and if it's down to me I better take great care of myself! Instead of powering through, I took a pause and asked myself some essential questions: 🔹 What do I need in this moment? 🔹 What’s in my control? 🔹 What do I need to let go of? 🔹 What are my options? I got back to basics. I used my Shakti mat to de-stress and practiced a gratitude meditation that helped me refocus on the small moments of joy in my day: client successes, new business opportunities, the support of my family and friends, and the joy of watching my daughter introduce Toto to our neighbors. In challenging times, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, but pausing to manage stress and reset our mindset can make all the difference. I didn’t finish my to-do list, but I made progress, and more importantly, I shifted my perspective to embrace the wins—big and small. Stress management and taking time to pause aren't just wellness practices, they are critical to maintaining productivity and a healthy mindset in high-pressure environments. How do you pause and reset when things feel overwhelming? ps... yes Toto did try to eat the laptop as I took this photo! #StressManagement #Resilience #MindsetMatters #Leadership #PauseToProgress #MentalHealthInBusiness #ProductivityHacks #emoloyeewellbeing #performancehacks

I wish I could tell you that managing stress and boosting your energy is easy. That choosing to improve yourself is easy. That prioritizing your well-being is easy. Because if it was, we'd all be doing it (as cliche as that sounds). I also struggle at times. Oh, but let me tell you that the rewards of pouring into yourself first are truly worth it: ✨ Imagine waking up and starting your day energized and less anxiety (yes it's possible) ✨ Crushing your to-do list at work because you have mental clarity and you’re actually productive. ✨ Leading with confidence throughout the day, and still having energy left for your loved ones afterwards (even this is possible). I'm not saying you'll always be at 100%, but I am saying you can still show up as your best self despite anything that you may be facing. And that looks different for everyone. Life will always throw curveballs. The trick is building the resilience, focus, and joy to navigate them. Because life is truly in the in-between. But all this needs to start with you taking care of YOU. But if you're not taking care of yourself sustainably, what's the point? That's why I specialize in helping busy professionals create sustainable habits for energy, clarity, and balance. Plus I help them take their personal wellness to the workplace. Your body (incl. mind and spirit) is your greatest asset, whether you’re a business owner, manager, employee, parent, friend - or all of the above. Without it you wouldn't be doing what you're doing now. 💚 So let me ask you: Are you showing up as your best self in all spheres of life? Because it is possible. __________________________________________ 💚 P.S. I’m helping two more professionals this February transform their wellness through my holistic program. Together, we’ll take your personal wellness to the workplace and beyond. 🍃 Book your free discovery call today to get started. https://lnkd.in/eMTHiE-V #holisticwellness #stressmanagement #professionalgrowth #sustainablehabits

✨ 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: 𝗔 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 & 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 This weekend, I'm encouraging you to take a moment to set an intention. 🔆 "Setting intentions means setting a goal aligned with our spirit. To live intentionally and mindfully, we start with a positive intention." - Dr. Romie As a brain doctor and workplace wellness expert, I've seen firsthand how powerful this simple practice can be to help us think with a clear mind and calm heart. When we start our week with a clear intention, we're more likely to: - Feel more focused and productive. - Experience less stress and anxiety. - Make healthier choices. - Feel more fulfilled and happy. This weekend, take a few minutes to reflect on what you want to achieve next week. - What positive impact do you want to make? - What kind of energy do you want to bring to your work and your life? Please write down your intention and refer to it throughout the week. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗵𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗲, “𝗜 𝗔𝗺…. 𝗼𝗿 𝗜 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲…” 🔆 My intention for the week is that “I Am focused on what is important.” “I lead with my heart wide open.” Join me in this weekly practice to combat the Sunday Scaries and Monday Blues. From this place of intention setting, we can look with a clear mind and calm heart at our calendars and to-do lists for the week. ♻️ Share this #brainSHIFT with a colleague or team member so that all of you are taming a #BusyBrain and leading with focus, calm, and a sense of control. #wellness #mindfulness #intentionsetting #workplacewellness #mentalwellbeing #sundayscaries #mondayblues"
