🌟Day 14 of 365: Cultivating Patience on the Path to Your Dreams 🌱Patience isn't about waiting—it's about trusting. It's trusting that the seeds we’ve planted will bloom in their own time, even if all we see is soil right now. 📍The world around us often glorifies speed—quick wins, fast success. But true growth, the kind that lasts and transforms, happens quietly and steadily, beneath the surface. ⌚️Dreams take time. They require nurturing, consistent effort, and faith in the process. Every small step we take today, no matter how insignificant, is building the foundation for something extraordinary. So, on this 14th day, remind ourselves: We don’t have to have it all figured out. Stay patient, stay consistent, and trust the timing of our journey. 🌱 #365DaysOfGrowth #TrustTheProcess #PatienceIsStrength #Day14Of365

Everyone currently reading this has a set of goals in mind. For some individuals, their goal may be to pursue their Masters in Canada this year. Others may aspire to improve their financial standing, while some are focused on building influence and advancing their careers. Interestingly, no one has likely listed the goal of keeping their lungs functioning. Nor listed out that they want the proper functioning of their kidneys. No one has asked that their body organs and systems Keeps on functioning properly. Perhaps some of you feel unhappy because you don't possess bone-straight hair, but remember that only those with their bones straight can wear bone-straight hairstyles. Those in the hospital has just one prayer and Goal which is for their health to be restored back to Normal. What exactly are you complaining of that you have refused to be grateful for Life and the ability to breath without pains? Often, we tend to fixate on the one thing that isn't going well and overlook the ten things that are actually working in our favour. As long as there is life, there are no limits to what we can achieve. If you believe you lack money, understand that the adversary doesn't want you to have a heart. Take a moment to express gratitude to God for the mercy you have received, as not everyone has been fortunate enough to obtain mercy. As the new month begins, let us be more appreciative of the seemingly ordinary things in life. Don't allow the one thing that isn't working for you to rob you of your joy. #Estel #publicspeakingconsultant #careercounselor

In our journey through life, it’s easy to feel pressured by the fast-paced world around us. We see others reaching milestones at lightning speed, and we can’t help but compare our progress to theirs. But here’s a gentle reminder from the wise Confucius. This isn’t just about reaching a destination; it’s about embracing each step, learning from every stumble, and growing stronger with every challenge. Progress, no matter how small it seems, is still progress. Your pace does not diminish your achievements. So to anyone feeling behind or doubting their journey, remember this: Your value isn’t measured by your speed, but by your persistence. Keep moving, keep striving, and keep dreaming. The path may be long and winding, but every step you take is a step towards your goals. Let’s celebrate our unique journeys and the beauty of moving forward at our own pace. Because in the end, what matters most is not how quickly we arrive, but the lessons we learn and the person we become along the way. #PersistenceOverPace #JourneyNotRace #MotivationMonday #drjenny #chronicfatigue #cfsme #chronicfatiguesyndrome #longcovid #chronicpainwarrior #chronicillness #chronicfatigueawareness #naturopathicmedicine #longcovid #longhaulers

Day 51 Health Goal Journey 21 Dec 2024, Saturday Winter Solstice: A Time for Reflection and Renewal Today marks the winter solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year. It’s a day of transition—a moment to pause, reflect, and prepare for the light to return. For me, it’s a powerful reminder of the cycles of life and the importance of embracing both darkness and light in our personal journeys. As I continue my health goal journey, the winter solstice serves as a metaphor for growth: • Embrace the Darkness: Challenges and setbacks teach us resilience and prepare us for new beginnings. They are part of the process, not obstacles to it. • Welcome the Light: Just as the days will gradually grow longer, our consistent efforts, no matter how small, bring us closer to our goals. • Honor the Journey: Growth is not linear—it’s a dance between moments of reflection and bursts of action. ✨ Solstice Reflection: • What lessons has this year’s journey taught you? • How will you welcome the light of new opportunities in the days ahead? Today, I’m taking time to reflect on the past 50 days of my health goal journey and envision the path ahead. It’s a moment of gratitude for the progress I’ve made and excitement for what’s yet to come. Let’s honor this day by grounding ourselves in the present and setting intentions for a brighter tomorrow. #MissionVisionPassion #MVP #Epigenneur #GowHuiYian #HuiYianGow #CourageAndPassion #LeBlueprint #CareerMapping #Wellness #WinterSolstice #HealthJourney #MindfulLiving #ReflectionAndRenewal #PersonalGrowth Boon Kuang HAN 🧲 Tiat Leong ANG 👨🚒 Chee Song (BERNARD) KOH 🥐

APPROACHING MID-YEAR: GOOD TIME TO CHECK THOSE GOALS … We are in June. In a few weeks’ time we will be past the first half of 2024. It is a good time to check your 2024 goals, the ones you set at the start of the year. How far have you gone with them? For me, on the whole, it looks good. I set a health goal, a financial goal and an academic goal. So far, things look generally good. MORE ABOUT RATU SIR LALA SUKUNA LATER I will say more about Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna, the Founding Father of modern Fiji later next week. We have been rather busy here with the first week of exams. The second week starts next week. COLD NIGHTS: FLU IS COMMON … Fiji is lower on the latitudes than New Guinea and other Pacific states, and the winter from the south does have an effect on its weather. At this time of the year, it gets very cold in the night. I developed a cold/flu last week and it is a bit better now. Interestingly, I have noticed that other people are also having that cold and cough. It is common due to the change in the weather. THE WEIGHT LOSS STORY CONTINUES On Thursday, my colleague informed me that her aunt has dropped another 2kg. Wow. That is awesome. For someone who have never lost weight in all these years, dropping 4kg over three months or so is a big step towards progress. She is excited and she should be happy. I told my colleague to continue encouraging her aunt to continue with the intermittent fasting: Eat at 6pm or 7pm and do not eat anything again until 9am or 10am the next day. On top of that, do some stretches in the morning and also in the evenings. That should help. (Extra: I also shared this method with a cab driver on Thursday. He said he was facing weight problems as well.)
