Tq for sharing Most telehandler operators do not wear seatbelts because the door to the operator cabin is available and can be locked from inside. The operator's brother narrated to me the following sad story to me: The Telehandler rolled down the hill slope. My brother broke his neck and died on the spot. During the training attended by all the operators at Cameron Highlands, we asked the trainer whether it is necessary to wear the seat belt since there are locked doors on both sides of the cabin. The trainer told us it is 'terpulang' (up to you)". We at The ISO Group are of the opinion that when a mobile machine works on hill slopes, operators must wear seat belts. If the machine overturns or flips like the video attached, the operator will be tossed inside the large cabin, and it can break his hands, legs or neck. This has caused a very unfortunate fatality. Many MNCs, PLCs, GLCs, SMEs, appointed The ISO Group to conduct Forklift Telehandler Training for their operators. ISO Group's training emphasised the pre-operation inspection for asset integrity as well as operating procedures using mindset, toolset and skills set on how to ensure safety for 1. Operators and co-workers in the environment 2. Goods being shifted 3. Environment and 4. The Equipment. The contents are inline with the Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) curriculum for MHE (Forklift and Telehandler / Telescopic) machine operations. We are proud to be the Expert Panel in National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) Development for the Dept. Of Skills Development (DSD/JPK) for the following professions: 1. Material Handling Equipment (Forklift, etc.) SKM Level 3 2. Mobile Elevating Work Platform (Boom Lift, etc.) - SKM Level 3 3. Crane Rigger - SKM Level 2 4. Crane Lifting Supervisor - SKM Level 3 5. Crane Operation- SKM Level 3 6. Crane Lifting Coordinator - Dip. Level 4 7. Crane Lifting Planner - Adv. Dip. Level 5 8. Lifting Machinery Installation, Dismantling & Maintenance Supervision Level 3 (OYB, JKKP) The ISO Group has continuously proven itself over the last 21 years to be the Research Company in Competency Operations Training & Real-time Assessment for many MNCs, GLCs, PLCs from all over the World, inclusive of more than 200 of the FORTUNE 500 Companies. It has also since won 26 International & Local Awards and 2 Malaysia Book of Records, for Diversity in Languages, Innovation, IOT in Competency Operations, Safety, Best Technology, TVET Training and Training inclusive of the Oil & Gas Asia (OGA) Lifetime Innovation Achievement Award 2024. www.isogroup.edu.my email: frank@isogroup.com.my mobile tel: +6018.771.9266 Lt.
