Regional Manager, Continuous Improvement at Adient, Leading Lean Transformation

This week, we had the Lean Manufacturing training program for several key members of the Adient North America Seat Structures & Mechanisms team. After an 18-month hiatus since the last session and following other specialized sessions in Kepner-Tregoe, Lean Administration, and Six Sigma, persistent demand from various plants prompted me to reintroduce this training. Participants will have one month to apply what they've learned in their individual projects before moving on to the second week, focused on advanced techniques. Upon the conclusion of that final training session, they will be ready to conduct the latest implementations and proceed with their certification as Lean Manufacturing Practitioners/Professionals. While the time investment during this week posed a challenge to everyone's schedules, the benefits we will reap in the short, medium, and long term as an organization fully justify the efforts and hours devoted. Ultimately, the Lean transformation of our company requires our most talented employees to dedicate themselves to training, paving the way towards the ideal state of our manufacturing processes. #WeAreAdient #LeanManufacturing #Training #OpEx #OperationalExcellence #LeanThinking

So glad to see Adient re-engaging this program. You are the best for rolling this out. The competition will be trying to catch up. It works!
