If you know Eyeup, you'll know that CAP 722H and I have history. CAP 722H version 3 was launched last week on 9th April and was, I suspect, an attempt to ruin my weekend. No matter. It has taken 5 days for a one-man-band operators with a full-time day job to review version 3, and produce an updated Oversight Report. As ever, I can't claim a fully comprehensive review, or even that it is error-free. But it doesn't cost the regulator anything other than a bit of lost pride to read and take my review seriously. We all, as Specific Category operators, pay for this stuff to be right first time, or at least second time. When it's not right the third time around and new errors are being introduced even I start to get weary. At this point I'm afraid it's a battle of wills. Come on UK CAA. You did a splendid job of turning CAP 2606 v1 into v1.1 in 6 days last week (though this review picks up on some possible additional problems with that document too). Let's gird those mighty loins and lean into the aim for perfection! By the way... I'll know from the comments whether you've actually read the blog, if not the Oversight Report.
