We have been hosted by Northumberland National Park Authority twice this month for in-person tailored training courses. Across 4 days we trained two groups of mixed experience users on using QGIS and spatial data analysis. They picked up the techniques and concepts really well and by the end of the session we were seeing how they can incorporate their new skills in their work. I look forwards to seeing what they create in future! If you're looking to utilise QGIS & data analysis for in person or online training for your team get in touch here ⬇ https://lnkd.in/ee3hen4w or 📩 email training@maptastic.co.uk #qgis #training #data # #opendata #cpd #nationalparks #environment #qgistraining

#Working Smart VS #Working Hard Growth result from hard work and perseverance. Working Smart is the combination of working hard and learning from professionals and mentors. Gaining insights from Jing Wu and @Denny Cameron Robert at the World Health Organization GIS Center for Health was invaluable for mastering QGIS software. We covered essential tools and techniques, such as data cleaning and editing, label formatting, point counting by area, field calculations, data location and geometry editing, symbology manipulation, and more. This experience solidified my ability to work efficiently and effectively with QGIS. Working hard and working smart are not mutually exclusive, and to get better at what we do, we must put in the hard work, time, and energy. #The grind must be ground. #The hustle must be hustled. #Normalize hard work. #ThankYou World Health Organization. #ThankYou Jing Wu. #ThankYou Denny, Cameron Robert. #ThankYou Abdulazeez Kasim Murtala.

Land surveyor working hard to facilitate smooth real estate transactions, land development projects, and large infrastructure projects in Central California and Western Nevada.
I've got a short video that shows you how to import survey points into QGIS and add them to an existing point layer: In a future video, I'll show you how to adjust existing point features to imported survey grade points. (I want to write a plug-in for QGIS that automates this.) You can catch more QGIS videos like this on our RH Learning Channel on YouTube! (I'll put a link to the channel in the comments.) How are you importing survey data into QGIS? Let me know in the comments! #QGIS #surveypoints #rh #rhlearning

First time attending the QGIS User Conference. 💪 It’s been on my to-do list for a while, but never quite made it onto my calendar… until now! And it’s just one day away. 🥳 QGIS has taught me much about GIS and data across various projects over the past 10+ years. Maybe it’s finally time to dive deeper and give something back from all those learnings! 😉 #geoidt #qgis2024 #finland #slovakia
