Week 20: Dive into Undet Point Cloud software 🚀 This week, let's look at the must-have tool for point cloud-to-CAD workflow. 🔸 Virtual Panos🔸 To use unique Undet Browser features you don’t need to use structured point clouds. You can create Virtual Scans by placing camera positions from any point cloud. For drone users, this feature offers exceptional capabilities and is particularly useful in topography. 💡 Ready to supercharge your point cloud-to-CAD workflow? Explore #Undet software suite: ARES Commander with Undet plugin. 👉😎 I see the real value of #drone #data when used across the structure of a #construction company and how quickly🏃♂️ the data gets from the construction #site 🚧 to the end users 👷♀️👷♂️👩💼. AVAG is a 🌥 Cloud SW in which every user can easily and quickly access #dronedata without needing any workstation 🖥. One of the many great features is the #calculation of #volume between two surfaces in a few seconds. A few advantages of AVAG: --------------------------- ✈ FREE #photogrammetry data processing or import processed outputs ✈ unlimited number of users + user management (even for large structures) ✈ advanced features 🔝 📐 📈 💡 ✈ import large #CAD drawings in the original coordinate system ✈ price per month only 125 EUR --------------------------- Have you tried AVAG yet? Sign up today to start your free 14-day trial😉. Checked the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) spec sheet for the LAS lidar point cloud format. Why am I shocked that RGB + IR is in the standard? https://lnkd.in/d8dnU9MN There might be a better way of colorizing our point cloud than using the colorizing tool associated with Myria3D. Some of that code is written for French speakers, and I'd prefer not to mess with it if at all possible. Also worth noting las2las can also colorize, but not using an orthophoto, like we will need to perform inference: https://lnkd.in/dC7Hjyu3

🗺 𝐂𝐮𝐭/𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐩 🗺 Last time I showed you how to measure the volume between two layers in AVAG. But that's not all! 💪 You can easily create a cut/fill map and set the tolerance and transparency for it. 🔆 This not only gives you an overview of the exact numbers, but also a graphical representation of the changes!👁 Do you like it? Or should we add something? 😎 #AVAG #map #polygon #GIS #AirView #Drone #Cloud

Take a Look at the Final Results
My first look at the Emlid Reach RX and Pix4D Catch combo...first test is to check the positional accuracy vs my reference Trimble Inc. R12i, as the GNSS positioning is the basis for the overall results. The single point measurement in Pix4D Catch has the antenna directly above the measured point (no horizontal offsets to introduce errors), but ensure your pole has a bubble to level it. The test used 5 sample measurements from each device, each a 5 second observation. The relatively low antenna height (1.6 m) was used to replicate the typical #mobile #documentation process (shoulder-height). The Emlid/Pix4D Catch setup gives great results - the metrics are shown in the video. Next step is to assess the photogrammetric results (Pix4D Catch measurement, processed through Pix4D Cloud) against a standard #survey measurement. #gnss #vermessung #surveying #pix4dcatch #pix4dcloud #trimbleaccess #trimbleR12i #rtk #photogrammetry
