We've just concluded the latest Intel Ignite Munich program, batch 6. In total, I've worked now intensively with 30 #deeptech startups across three batches, all seeking substantial funding, predominantly at the Series A level. Based on my experience, here is an update of my Speech Structure Building for investor pitches. What is new is a critical element: timing. 'Why invest now?' is a question every investor out there considers. While the concept of 'kairos'—the right or opportune moment—wasn't originally among the foundational rhetorical appeals of logos, ethos, and pathos, its significance in persuasion is paramount and often as crucial as the classical appeals themselves.
