Integrating #HPV into conventional other #STI #screening in #France and #Armenia In #Paris, #IledeFrance and #Armenia, as part of the "Hôpital Hors Les Murs" programme ( "Hospital Outside the Walls" programme, HOW), www.aremedia.org, considering that #papillomaviruses are part of #STI, is now integrating - in a way that is both innovative and comprehensive - #HPV #screening (for eligible women, mainly #SexWorkers) into the conventional range of #HIV, #viralhepatitis and other #STI #screening services. www.aremedia.org is thus complying with the very recent #WHO recommendations concerning the #elimination of #cervical #cancer as a #global #Public #Health #priority (#GlobalHPV). #trust was a major theme to kick off day 3 at #AHIP2024. Or, rather the acknowledgment of insufficient trust. Trust in science. Trust in AI. Trust between patients and physicians. Trust between healthcare organizations and underserved communities. We still have a long way to go across the board. When there are gaps in trust, local community based organizations #CBOs - organizations that represent the diversity of the people they serve and provide #SDOH services to address food insecurity, transportation, housing, and other supports that address health related social needs - often have the highest trust with vulnerable and underserved communities. These organizations can be a key partner to help bridge the trust gap. Healthcare organizations need to improve coordination and partnership with CBOs as an aligned extension of the care team. This is why we built Town Square to make it easy for health plans and providers to contract directly with CBOs as aligned partners. With centralized technology, administrative services and member engagement programs we are helping to activate social care networks to improve whole person health in every community.
