We’re proud to launch a brand new fund in partnership with The Randal Charitable Foundation. 🌟 Grant funding is available to support local charities and community projects working to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls in Milton Keynes. The devastation of the Los Angeles fires is weighing on our country. Many of us on the east coast (and in other areas) are wondering how we can help. Major companies have stepped up in a variety of ways, from Airbnb to Disney, offering housing, services and monetary donations. Paramount will donate $1 million to relief efforts, provide cash grants and temporary housing to those impacted, and offer emotional assistance. If you are a smaller company or individual who wants to help but doesn’t know where to start, here are a few ways: 👕 Donate items to a household in need. Donating directly to a personal connection means they get the items quickly without an intermediary. Ask them what they need and only give what they need at this time. Clothing and basic care items go a long way. 💵 Financial donations to help households rebuild. GoFundMe has created a page with verified fundraisers for those impacted. Or, you can donate to their relief fund that has raised $2.9M out of their $5M goal. 🏫 Donate to a nonprofit. My friends at Givsly will actually make a donation to a nonprofit on your behalf. On top of that, there are several non-profits providing relief such as The Salvation Army, Save the Children US, Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation Los Angeles Regional Food Bank ⌚ Donate your time. If you are driving distance, Mutual Aid Los Angeles Network (MALAN) has put together a resource library for both those in need of aid and those who want to help. Almost 136,000 16–24-year-olds were homeless or at risk of homelessness in the UK in 2022-23. This week everyone at Andrews is involved in various fundraising activities to raise £5,000 for [establish], a project that provides high quality, safe and affordable housing to young people vulnerable to homelessness (often care leavers), helping them grow into fully independent adults. Andrews Charitable Trust partner with local youth support organisations who provide ongoing weekly support to the residents. We find suitable properties that Andrews Charitable Trust purchase to become [establish] homes, and our teams provide housing management services and liaise regularly with the [establish] tenants. The money raised this week will fund deposits for [establish] tenants when they move on to the private rental sector. We’re proud to be charity owned and we’re incredibly proud of the amazing work of [establish]. #propertyandpurpose
