Software Craft & Software Quality, DDD, BDD, TDD, more 3-letter Acronyms :) - Dev, Architect, Speaker & Author ... I love to learn shiny new stuff :)

During the codecentric AG KickOff 2024 my team (Stefanie Hasler, Julius Jann, Felix Fischer) and me presented the way we do 𝗠𝗼𝗯/𝗘𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲/𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺-𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 (as invented by Woody Zuill) with our current enterprise customer. We shortly presented our way (< 10 min) and switched into a fishbowl to hear about the experiences of other teams. Here are some of our key takeaways: ` * it is easy to try it out, even with enterprise customers * for us the sweet spot is a 3 people mob, with 4 people we prefer to split into pairs * we still do larger mobs if knowledge sharing is the focus * Tooling helped a lot * https://mob.sh/ (invented by Dr. Simon Harrer) allows us to switch drivers any time * A spatial communication tool (in our case https://www.gather.town) helped us to see who is online and free to join a mob If you want to learn more take a look at Woody's talk here: https://lnkd.in/dPZ-C2Fj What are your takeaways? #mobprogramming #softwarequality #softwarecraft  #codecentriccrew

Awesome that the little mob.sh tool is helpful to you! :-) Any feedback to make the tool even better?

I am still grateful that you introduced it to me some years ago, Marco. Wish you a great Kickoff.

It was a lot of fun, thanks again to all participants 😊 It's always interesting to hear how other teams use team programming. There's always something to learn and improve.
