Imagine what you can do with this technology if you use LTE-M to backhaul a battery operated gateway operating at <1mW while actively monitoring thousands of sub-GHz sensors. The Skyhawk PRIOT platform enables that. Add the Onomondo software SIM approach and power efficient cell modules working hand in hand with advanced cellular networks operating in eDRX mode, and the world is a different place.

Blecon and Memfault have collaborated to demonstrate the combined benefits of low-cost IoT connectivity and advanced device observability. Blecon's IoT Connectivity product uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to enable physical products to communicate with cloud applications, similar to a cellular network, but at a lower cost. This technology facilitates use cases like engineering diagnostics, which are essential for ensuring product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. By using Blecon, engineering teams can leverage powerful tools like Memfault to gain valuable insights into their products' real-world performance. The recent demo showcases how this combination empowers teams to: ✅ Monitor device stability, connectivity, and battery life across their entire fleet ✅ Identify and diagnose issues affecting specific firmware versions ✅ Set up alerts on critical device metrics to proactively address potential problems If you are attending #EW24, visit Memfault booth 4-238 to see the demo in action. The term Guru originates from Sanskrit, where "gu" means darkness or ignorance, and "ru" means remover. Thus, a Guru is someone who dispels ignorance and leads others to enlightenment or deeper knowledge on a subject.
9moThis is a great (albeit obvious) step in SIM technology, yet I still think the industry needs to work entirely upon getting the whole eUICC standardisation sorted so that customers can actually do something practical with it. Even more so with sim technologies such as iSIM and eSIM where there is no choice but to use eUICC to change provider, we need to ensure this is 100% working, practical and effective en masse.
