I am fixing an electric sonic toothbrush on a Sunday. I have been breaking the norm and building or improving things my whole life. Well, trying .. you win some and lose some, but that's the learning process. Philips Oral Healthcare - Philips. Innovation and you Sonicare toothbrushes are fantastic devices my family has used for years. They have a common issue that comes up after a few years; it's a tiny screw that comes loose, which is down to the vibrations making it unique. So my fix + mod is to tighten that screw and apply a lock glue. I get another 12-18 months and have three in my household. I did throw them away in the past, but it's not environmentally friendly or economical. Also, I realised I had fallen into the disposable tech hole. As a small kid, I was taking electronics and toys apart to see how they worked and to fix them. At ten years old, I moved to computers. I still love to make, break and fix things.
