During my MBA campus placement days, when BASF team had come, like all other companies they also asked me what is your end goal? Where do you see yourself in 5 years professionally? Had these questions been asked on the personal front, I would have had just said- I see myself happier in future than today. But on the professional front, I never had any position or title in mind! I said I just want to be an opinion shaper in my field (petrochemicals & chemicals) where my opinions are not only heard but implemented also. Somehow, BASF team trusted me then! And I must say, BASF is an institution for the global chemicals industry. Today whatever tiny bit work I have done, I can only say- never get side-tracked while walking your lane. I am happy to share that I've completed my first semester of M.Sc Electromobility at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. These are the few things which I've learned and sum up my experience in a nutshell - 1. Living alone seems difficult but involves an immense potential for personal growth so, those of you who haven't done that yet, I really suggest you do. 2. With time you get used to doing all your chores independently. At the start it's daunting everyday but, you'll enjoy the process. 3. Life challenges you everyday, throws something that's completely new to you but it's up to you how you reciprocate with that. Taking things one day at a time really helps. 4. Building your social circle and committing to new friendships is highly important because, away from family you need people that make you feel like home. 5. Being humble and understanding where other people are coming from takes you a long way in communicating effectively with everyone. 6. Travel and explore as much as you can so that you'd be well informed and updated about the cultures across different cities and countries. In the coming Summer Semester I intend to keep up with the curriculum and build up a new skill-set which aligns with and elevates my professional experience. On to the next one! 💯

There's a quote that has always inspired me: "Life is too short to spend it regretting the things we didn't have the courage to try." In 2023, enrolling in the "Mastère Spécialisé en Environnement et Eco Efficacité Energétique" 📚 program at INSA Lyon posed a significant personal challenge. It meant living without a salary, stepping down from senior positions after 20 years of experience, spending entire days in class, and diving into scientific research and literature. However, it turned out to be incredibly rewarding, with enriching exchanges within committed classmates and professors. Despite the demanding schedule, I have no regrets about complementing my background in Digital, Foresight, CSR and Transformation with scientific insights into Climate Change, Energy Challenges, Mobility, Circular Economy, and the daily adaptations required by companies, cities, and citizens. After more than 600 hours of coursework, a new chapter begins with a internship back to the corporate environment. I am thrilled to dedicate the next months to Supply Chain projects at bioMérieux, putting my commitment into practice, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions in last-mile logistics across EMEA within bioMérieux's Supply Chain. I extend my gratitude to Laurence QUERTIER & Rémi Tilmont and all the teams for their warm welcome and dedication in a critical domain for transformation to the realization of net-zero goals for companies. Achieving this requires robust top management support, investments, cross-departmental collaboration, and personal engagement 🌟 !
