The newly published paper of the Special Issue on "Seafarers' Mental Health and Well-being" Sage builds on seafarers' needs and experiences. The study calls for greater attention to providing adequate, nutritious, and culturally appropriate food on board cargo ships and to the standards of training for cooks, recognizing its significance for seafarers’ physical and mental.
