There’s 3 times during the day 👇 That I personally recommend to clients…. 1️⃣ My personal favourite ❤️ is 2-3 hours before Iftar - since it’s been 10 days of Ramadan, the body has become accustomed to the fasting process, and therefore you should be able to do a 🏋️♀️moderately intense workout 2-3 hours before Iftar with no issues. 2️⃣ My 2nd favourite 🖤 is if I miss my workout, is I do it after Taraweeh Namaz, usually just have a banana or quick Smoothie for energy (best pre workout) before working out - as you can now eat/drink. 3️⃣ Lunchtime, 🧳 or during your break at work, 1pm Etc. Some people workout during their lunch break, so why change the routine if you normally do it this way, only problem is your in the middle of your fasting window, therefore won’t be able to eat straight away like option 1 or 2. Day 325 - It’s day 100 for Yumiko. One hundred working days until she’s through. She’s told her boss but hasn’t yet told her coworkers, and the company is slowly looking for a replacement. Losing Yumiko is going to be very hard, as she’s the only person who knows how to do the many vital things she does. She’s begun documenting her processes, but if the company doesn’t hire a replacement soon there may not be enough time to fully train. She thinks they may then ask her to continue working from Japan. I hope not, as this job is slowly killing my wife. This needs to end. I saw a glimmer of relief in Yumiko’s eyes when I told her she’d reached the 100 day mark. I worry though just how much “life” this last 100 days will cost her as she worries and stresses and frets her way to the end. Hang in there, Yumiko. You are almost there! Do you believe that you have to break something for it to grow back stronger? It’s true for muscles, that’s what you do if you lift weights. It can be true for relationships. And it’s definitely true for systems and processes in business. Once you’ve broken it and achieved failure, it’s much easier to rebuild it stronger the next time round, with your newfound knowledge. It’s not comfortable though. It can be painful. It’s hard work and often easier not to do, and not always much fun when you’re in the process of doing it. I may have added a little too much on to our plates this week. I’m at risk of breaking a few systems, a few relationships and possibly a few people, or at least pushing them to their limits (wherever such limits may be?). But the thing is, we don’t often know what we’re capable of until we’re pushed. I’ve never lifted as heavy weights on my own as I have when I’m pushed by someone else. I’ve never run as fast on my own as I have when I’m pushed by someone else. And I’ve never worked as hard on my own as I have when I’m being pushed by someone else or I’m doing it to benefit someone else, someone or something I care about. The outcome is nearly always positive, but when you’re in the thick of it and it’s all a bit challenging and painful, it’s not easy to see light at the end of the tunnel. I know it’s there though and we’ll either look back and learn from whatever we broke along the way, or be so proud we pushed ourselves to do lots of big things all at the same time. Either way, we’ll get stronger as a result, which in my opinion makes it all worth it (ensuring that everyone gets stronger, and no one gets left behind). #everydays

Happy boxing day everyone! We still have a few days left of the holidays and I hope you are enjoying them as much as I am. If you are anything like me though, going to several Christmas events over 2-3 days can be exhausting! I usually need a week long vacation after those events. Over the years I have collected a few ways to recover after those festivities and hopefully this can help some of you out as well. 1. Get your sleep! Sure, holidays are usually known for sleeping in and getting the rest you may have been missing for the last few months but if you are spending time with the ones you love, excited for Christmas morning, or having a few drinks with family, all of these can lead to disrupted sleep. 2. Stay hydrated. Water is your best friend and we should all know that by now. 3. Protect your peace. Nobody gets to tell us how much socializing we do throughout the holiday season and who we socialize with. Now is the time to spend time with whoever you want and for however long you want. Take One Step at a Time… Mondays can feel like a lot sometimes, but it’s good to take things one step at a time. Things are pretty busy at work so before diving into my to do list and actions for the week, I usually take time to reflect on what worked last week and what needs more attention. It’s a simple habit, but it helps me prioritise and stay focused without getting or feeling overwhelmed. It’s not about doing everything at once (still learning this)—it’s about starting with one thing at a time. How do you get ready for the week ahead? Ps.
