Today marks a pivotal moment for us at Amae Health as we announce the closure of our $15 million Series A funding. This round was led by Quiet Capital, with significant investment Healthier Capital, as well investment from all our seed investors including Bling Capital, Virtue , 8VC and Able Partners. Very few people talk about startup failure, myself included. A few pieces of this article really stood out to me as I reflect back on my own experience: It's always hard to accept that you have to move on: "If you’ve never been a founder, it might be challenging to empathize with all this. But I’ve heard many founders report that it feels like the stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance). The startup often becomes an identity that a founding team embraces, and their own success and failure gets tied up with the company."
