=> WHY KNOWING YOUR OPPONENT IS....... Imagine yourself jumping from a WW2 aircraft straight into a battlefield where you are descending with a parachute with no ammunition with at the ground an army of dreadful soldiers waiting for you to land just to hold you captive. This is what happens when you jump straight into action out of sheer excitement. This results in ineffectiveness. You are powerless to do aught. But if you do some research and know your rival, then know that you have him in your near grasp. This is Why knowing your opponent is the way to victory

https://lnkd.in/d8qdwaJd Style & method of celebrating 6th September must be changed to get status of best Forces in Asia 1965 model, best Administrative model at global level. Commandos platoons, sniper squads, free fall of commandos, gaging standards of firing, old weapons modernization of arrows, swords, swings, rowing etc at Olympics level must be a proved. Fast changing technology & modern munitions require modification of existing equipment beside induction of new equipment requiring dollars. Services, spare parts, overhauling, modification of military equipment, training, maintenance & repairs facilities for export must be displayed. Peace environments must be created by hunting sports talent from youth from. Middle school level with incentives, extensive training, provision of facilities through competions sponsored by ex boy recruit type system by forces, government, educational institution, housing societies etc.

Just read "TORA BORA REVISITED: HOW WE FAILED TO GET BIN LADEN AND WHY IT MATTERS TODAY," later than when I would have been uniquely receptive to a critical point the report made and still failed years after applying it. I am grateful I can use post-2021 hindsight in this report's reassessment of events. Looking back, I appreciate the swiftness of the first four months of OEF and exclude its impact, although tied, from the strategies that followed December 2001. "...human skills remain important in war..., The basic infantry skills, foreign language abilities, competence and care in using and maintaining equipment, and physical and mental toughness of...troops contributed to victory every bit as much as did high-tech weaponry." In the opinion of this former Marine, the long-term strategy is best achieved through a human approach that focuses on developing all human factors that produce long-term net positives, from the basics of human capital development to its sustainment, cultivation, and security for both domestic and foreign strategy.

I put on my jacket: "It's not the skill to win, but the will to win." Having the will to win, being determined and disciplined, and never giving up are key factors in reaching your own personal excellence. 💭Sharing my favorite part of “the Art of War” 夫兵形象水，水之行，避高而趨下； Military tactics are like unto water; for water in its natural course runs away from high places and hastens downwards. 兵之勝，避實而擊虛。 So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak. 水因地而制行，兵因敵而制勝。 Water shapes its course according to the nature of the ground over which it flows; 故兵無常勢，水無常形， Therefore, just as water retains no constant shape, so in warfare there are no constant conditions. 能因敵變化而取勝者，謂之神。 He who can modify his tactics in relation to his opponent and thereby succeed in winning, may be called a heaven-born captain. 故五行無常勝，四時無常位，日有短長，月有死生。 The five elements are not always equally predominant; the four seasons make way for each other in turn. There are short days and long; the moon has its periods of waning and waxing.
