Damn right. All #SOF matter in U.S. #nationalsecurity, and every tribe claims their unqiue, adaptive and innovative tools and techniques. But #AFSPECWAR mastered the #Joint mindset and integration long before "Joint" became a buzzword in GWOT or Strategic Competition lexicon. And indeed, most of the American public is tragically uninformed about the Air Force’s premier special operations capabilities... something my forthcoming book trilogy "Visual Friendlies, Tally Target" will cover in explicit detail.
Executive Officer - U.S. Air Force, Special Warfare Training Wing Adjunct Specialist - UT Health San Antonio, Dept of Orthopaedics Husband and Father
Special Operations Forces (SOF/ground operators) working within the USAF are still an all but unknown entity to the American public, the world, and even within the US military. AFSPECWAR is the only SOF force in the US military that maintains a deliberate dual role as the destrover of enemies while also serving as the first of first responders in the event of national or international crises. In a world of complex problems, the limits to AFSPECWAR capabilities and influence are bound by only one thing, a self-perceived limitation. Of course, a lack of aggressiveness or thinking inside the box doesn't mean you're a bad person or you cannot be wildly successful but those traits are not welcome on results-oriented teams who operate with complete autonomy in high risk, no-fail environments. If you want it bad enough nowhere else in profession or sport will you be able to write your path like this and eventually walk with unlimited potential. DM, post your questions or visit www.afspecwar.com if you know someone interested in seeing how deep this rabbit hole goes 🐇 #beaggressive #staythirstymyfriends #prideandpurpose #moonsoutgoonsout #failtopreparepreparetofail #noeasyday

Specialist outdoors coach & major incidents consultant. Taking you outdoors safely to help unlock your questions & answers. Multi decade armed forces & emergency services veteran. You will be very very safe!
Appreciating the needs of the support structures is key in any complex system Here are the table top maps for the appreciation for #Strategic (“Gold”) command on the An Turas Consulting #MIMMS course. Applying the military “2 up” principle of understanding commander’s intent, this session helps the learners apply context to the application of knowledge gained on the course.

CCRS Research Associate, Mr. Khan Menghok wrote an op-ed piece on “US Defense Secretary's Trip a Chance for Better Relations” on 28 May 2024, published in Cambodianess. In the article, he argues that the US Defense Secretary's second trip to Cambodia presents an excellent opportunity to enhance the relationship between the two countries, particularly in the military-to-military tie, and to clear some concerns over Chinese military presence in the Ream Naval Base.
