"Sales is more than just professional emails", - says our Sales Manager Rugilė. So what is it then? 💭 Rugilė admits that interpersonal connections with clients is key to long-term sales: "I always try to take a human-first approach when talking to clients. I believe it's important to have a trusting and open communication first in order to succeed. For example, we had a great worker team in Germany, but the project ended from the client side. We agreed to keep the team for a longer time paying wages while a new project would start with the same client. The strong interpersonal foundation we had with the client led to a resolve that was beneficial to both parties." 💭 The sales professional says that life is not always about work: "I have some great clients that I talk to on a regular basis, asking about their vacation plans, their families. I don't do it to sell something, I do it because we have a friendly connection and I genuinely care about them. Sometimes we get too laser focused on numbers that we tend to forget that we're still just human beings."
