I wish our authorities were more aware not just of the potential of #GreenHydrogen but, more importantly, how it can be most effectively produced and processed into #Greenammonia, considering the unique #geographical advantages of our country. It is crucial to recognize that not all #Electrolyzer #Technologies can help achieve the lowest cost of hydrogen (LCOH) or ammonia (LCOA). Choosing the right #Electrolyzer #technology is paramount to producing these #greenmolecules at scale and at a competitive cost. While every #Electrolyzer can produce #Greenhydrogen, the cost can vary significantly depending on the technology used. We must caution investors against backing #Electrolyzer businesses tied to #technologies with limited or no potential to produce #Greenhydrogen at the lowest possible cost, especially considering the specific #Indian #Geographical #Location. If their goal is to support the #Indian #Greenhydrogen/Ammonia business, they need to re-evaluate their #FID. I challenge our Ministry (#MNRE & #SECI) and concerned officials: Do they truly understand this complex and emerging field of #Greenhydrogen? I'm ready to demonstrate the correct path forward to unlock the #multi-#billion-#dollar opportunities envisioned by our #respected #Prime #Minister.

We are pleased to announce that Nobian is now a member of the H2eart for Europe's Partner Forum. This alliance aims to accelerate underground hydrogen storage projects in Europe for a decarbonized future. Louwrens Op de Beek, Director Energy Storage at Nobian, shares: "Underground hydrogen storage will revolutionize our future energy system by balancing supply and demand, optimizing renewable electricity use, and ensuring security of supply. Nobian aims to lead by developing the first salt caverns for hydrogen storage in the Netherlands and exploring the development of additional storage caverns in Northern Europe. The H2eart for Europe alliance is pivotal in accelerating the development of underground hydrogen storage helping to meet future European storage demand." Launched in January 2024, this initiative unites frontrunner storage service operators to support European decarbonization ambitions by scaling underground hydrogen storage projects. Reflections from Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe in Hamburg 🌍 After attending the Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe in Hamburg, it’s clear that the hydrogen and renewable energy supplier industry is evolving and maturing rapidly. There is now a significantly broader selection of suppliers available than a short time ago, providing us with more options for tailored technological solutions supporting hydrogen projects. This growth in the industry brings increased competition. Still, it also reinforces the importance of selecting suppliers who can deliver on quality, scalability, and reliability – critical elements for long-term success as the hydrogen sector continues to mature. I had great conversations and exchanged valuable insights with industry experts, and we look forward to continuing these collaborations to shape the future of hydrogen. 🚀 News in Photocatalysis! 🚀 We successfully developed Y2Ti2O5S2 (YTOS) as a promising photocatalyst for water splitting. With a narrow band gap energy of 1.9 eV, YTOS absorbed light up to 650 nm, making it highly efficient for solar energy use. Synthesized via high-temperature solid-state reaction, YTOS demonstrated great potential for overall water splitting.
