(Just!) wrapped up another year judging this 2024's #resiawards and as much as I loved seeing the impact that some hugely exciting projects have created, I was once again disappointed to have to discount some entries as they did not respond to the judging criteria. Top tip when entering awards - read and respond to the criteria. Yes, prose and storytelling is important but make sure that you are responding to what you are being asked. Winning an award is a huge accolade but entering takes time, energy and money so if you want to give yourself the best chance of success, please. read. the. detail. #awards #judging #resiawards

AI and technology are amazing to track. However, the value of human beings still doing jobs with excellence is hard to underestimate. Prior to becoming a business owner, I was in corporate sales for Alexander's Mobility Services. Their culture of delivering excellence as demonstrated in this clip of J.R. Perez, always amazed me.
