Surf's Up Store managers have a ton of responsibilities Freight processing, merchandising, store flips, price changes, BOPIS, fulfillment, credit card promos, rewards programs, daily huddles, daily sales trackers, weekly recaps, monthly 1:1, marketing changes, signage, scheduling, RTV's And we haven't even gotten to the HR and LP functions Hiring, interviews, no shows, admin functions, attendance issues, disengaged employees Did I mention customers? Corporate says the customer is number one, and then gives store managers a never ending list of responsibilities The district manager only has time to access the store manager's performance, utilizing metrics and documentation Being a store manager is like riding a wave.
