A tire popping might not just be a minor inconvenience for you; it could transport you back to darker days. The sight of trash on the side of the road might stir memories of dangers you’ve faced. And perhaps you wrestle with guilt over lost loved ones and the haunting ‘why’ questions that linger. For many of us, transitioning back to a different pace of life, adjusting to new social norms, and learning to manage internal alarms of adrenaline is a constant struggle. But here’s the call to action: don’t let your inner critic win. You have the tools to fight back, to grow, and to overcome. Don’t let anyone tell you to stay comfy and cozy—that’s a ticket to a life of regrets. Taking risks and facing fears head-on are the real paths to growth. Your battles, your experiences—they make you someone who has accomplished more than most. You have served, struggled, and survived. Take pride in that, but don’t dwell on it. You still have chapters to write, punches to throw, and battles to win. DAILY CADENCE-There is a regular cadence to my life that has made a positive difference in my professional and personal life and allows me to remain centered, balanced, and function effectively. I attempt to regularly and mostly early in the morning, become grounded by meditating on balanced spiritually based content. I am mindful of who I am, and my destined, important purpose and contribution to the lives of others. Such a regular habit prepares me for the day, commands centering, and increases my attention to details that may not have originally appeared on my to-do list, but during my time of meditation, prayer, and spiritual focus, clear mandates evolve. Specifically, many directions have become clearer and targeted by the preliminary early morning setting aside time to thank, think, ruminate, and strategize. The day's agenda becomes more targeted. To add clarity and picture to this rhythm, one can think about the analogy of 'Make Your Bed' as described by Navy Seal Admiral McRaven. https://lnkd.in/gVehCBUZ The regular rhythm and habits of mine and others help to accomplish the first, most significant propulsive activity at the start of the day. My sequence is my time of rumination, then I make my bed! Yes, I do make my bed every morning!! Additionally, secondary rumination times may occur at other times of the day. It is believed that an interesting person will simply answer: “I'm fine,” which may not be entirely sincere. But what if it wasn't? What if this “I'm fine” from someone who is clearly not fine actually meant something deep and true to them? This does not mean that everything is easy. It doesn't mean that they don't care. And it doesn't even mean that everything is going as it should. It expresses something deeper and more important. It is a statement. It is a personal decision to be okay despite really difficult circumstances. It's a willingness to stand up, roll up your sleeves, and do what needs to be done. Of course they get tired, of course they need help, and of course they need both rest and healing. But they can't just lie there and wait for those things to happen. And so they also have to be okay. That's why they choose to be okay. And they choose to be okay right now. Now is all there is; tomorrow is just an illusion. And if today is their last day, then yes, they want to be able to say, “I'm okay,” and mean it. “I'm fine” is not a way to hide what is obviously not fine. It's an attempt to make happiness out of the wreckage, in spite of everything, right now. A REBEL OR A SOLDIER. Everyone in life is fighting for something, and those who are not in the fight for something are basically not existing. You can not sit on the fence in the battle of life. It is a fierce battle, and everyone in it is either a soldier or a rebel. Soldiers and Rebels are basically the same, what differentiates them is what they are fighting for; the purpose of their agitation, and who they are fighting for. Rebellion are sometimes seen as unlawful and a fight against a perceived good course, but it may not always be the case. Sometimes, some people have to rebel against organised forces that are putting people in pain and deliberate hardship. When we rebel against a course that dehumanises others, and make others go through inhumane conditions, we are fighting a good cause, and whether we be tagged soldier or rebel it does not matter. People may fight for their own personal gains, it is not uncommon, and it may well be a worthy fight, but when we fight for those who cannot fight for themselves, we are doing the human race a huge favour. The world does not need more tamed souls, who succumb sheepishly to the horrific act of wickedness perpetrated by men who care less about the welfare of others, but would do anything to place themselves and theirs in affluence and prosperity. The world need warriors, rebels, and soldiers who are ready to fight for a cause that is bigger than them, those who would stand for those without feet, and speak for those without a voice. The world need people who truly care for others and desire the wellbeing of others. Life may be tough and difficult, the world will not give you anything on a platter of gold, but if you would go out and fight for what you want you would get it. Be a warrior, be a soldier, be a rebel, but never put others in discomfort and unrest. Fight only for peace, harmony, and the greater good of all around you. Find your voice and use it for the voiceless; be a reason for others to want to give their dreams and aspirations a worthy fight. Be a beacon of hope, be a fighter in love.
