Listen folks, nobody knows hardscaping better than me, believe me. I've built the most beautiful, most luxurious outdoor spaces you've ever seen. Tremendous spaces. And when people ask me, they say "Sir, how do you make these spaces so incredible?" And I tell them, you have to think big, really big. Like my properties - Mar-a-Lago, beautiful place, absolutely beautiful - we have the best hardscaping, maybe ever in history. And let me tell you about the materials we use, they're fantastic, absolutely fantastic. We use great concrete, amazing concrete, not like the cheap stuff from Chyna, no no. We get the best stones, American stones, and we put them together in these patterns - nobody's ever seen patterns like these before, they're revolutionary. And the walls, folks, I know about walls, nobody knows more about walls than me. These retaining walls, they're strong, they're powerful, and they're going to make your yard great again. And here's the thing, nobody's talking about this, but the finishing touches - so important, so so important. We put in these fire features, beautiful features, the best features. And water features? Forget about it. We have the best water features, better than Sleepy Joe's water features, I can tell you that. And when we're done, it's like nothing you've ever seen before. People come up to me with tears in their eyes, tough guys, and they say "Sir, this is the most beautiful hardscaping we've ever seen." It's true, they really do. And that's what we're doing - we're making outdoor spaces great again, and we're doing it better than anybody else, believe me. #centralflorida #ocala #orlando #jacksonville

#HydeParkHistories – #3: A Hidden Gem Often described as one of #London’s hidden gems, the Hyde Park Estate enjoys a reputation as a place of urban tranquillity away from the city’s major throughfares. Some of its historic routes, greens and open spaces include: 🌳 Sussex Gardens: This tree-lined avenue forms one of the boundaries of the Hyde Park Estate. With its mixture of Georgian terraces and 1960s complexes, it showcases the Estate’s two most distinctive architectural styles. In the early 2010s, railings lost to the war effort for their rationed metal were reinstated after nearly 70 years, alongside new landscaping for its garden areas. 🐎 The mews: Though some of the Estate’s mews were lost to 1960s redevelopment, two can still be found behind Sussex Gardens. Radnor and Bathurst Mews feature cobbled streets and retain many of their original carriage houses. Home to the Hyde Park Stables, Bathurst Mews is one of London’s last remaining mews with horses. The Stables provide horseback tours through Hyde Park along routes believed to be over 300 years old. 🐝 The garden squares: Carefully managed by dedicated garden square committees, all eight of the Hyde Park Estate's original 19th century squares remain today. The Church Commissioners for England continue to introduce new green spaces to the Estate, like the recently installed Reflection Garden adjacent to 25 Porchester Place. These are accompanied by #biodiversity projects including bird boxes, bee hotels and log stacks. The picture below was taken at the corner of two of the Estate’s lost mews, Titchborne and Burwood Mews, circa the late 1940s. #LondonRealEstate #HydeParkEstate #LondonHistory

🌱 Green spaces, big impact! 🌱 I’ve carefully chosen these bulbs for their beautiful contrast in texture and their seasonality. They’ll bloom gracefully throughout the spring, providing a stunning yet harmonious pop of color that creates a visual anchor to the composition. The magic happens on a small green roof in East London, where I’ll be monitoring their growth through the New Year into 2025. This isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about making a difference. 💚 Why is this easy for everyone to try? Planting bulbs in any small, overlooked space (like rooftops, balconies, or even a window box) can: 🌼 Boost biodiversity by supporting pollinators like bees and butterflies. 🌿 Create pockets of greenery that bring calm and beauty to city life. 👀 Leave a positive impact on everyone passing by, transforming urban spaces into something inspiring and alive. Follow along as I share updates on this journey—and see how small efforts can create a big impact on our environment and well-being. 🌍 Let’s grow together. 🌱✨ #UrbanGardening #GreenSpaces #Biodiversity #SpringBloom #EastLondon #SustainableLiving

Glimpse of green curtains at a Residence Project done recently 🍀 "Curtain creeper" is a common name for a few different species of climbing plants, including Vernonia elliptica, which is also known as creeping aster or purple vernonia. 🍀 This plant is native to Asia and Africa and is known for its attractive clusters of small purple flowers. 🍀 Vernonia elliptica is a relatively fast-growing vine that can climb up to 20 feet high if left unchecked. 🍀 It is often grown as a ground cover or allowed to climb up trellises, walls, or fences to create a living curtain. #greenarchitecture #Landscaping #gardendesign #greenbuilding

Creating spaces that bring people together is what we love most! For this 2024 project, we were honored to transform a yard into a seamless, welcoming retreat for our clients. Our goal? Open up the patios, connect the doors, and add dedicated spots for relaxing, reading, and gathering around a firepit. With thermal bluestone, elegant stucco walls that mirror the home, a whimsical fountain, and a winding bluestone chip walkway, this outdoor space is becoming something truly special. From formal plantings to playful pathways, every detail is designed to enhance each corner of this backyard. It’s almost finished, and we can’t wait to see it come to life for the family! Which feature would you spend the most time enjoying? PS. The dark days of winter have us pondering … what’s up with the stadium lighting in some of St. Louis’ most beautiful interior spaces? From the Cathedral Basilica to coffee shops, we tackle the brightness question in our new blog. https://lnkd.in/gychmGYV When deciding where to take visitors out on the town in St. Louis, few attributes are more critical to the process than the overall vibe, mood, or atmosphere of wherever you choose. Where can prospects – particularly reluctant ones – feel they’re potentially moving somewhere cool, cosmopolitan, or even chic? Over the years, we’ve found that the faithful handful of seal-the-deal options always seem to have one thing in common: they’re properly lit for the occasion. But here’s the rub: instead of a handful, there could be SO many more if only we could find the dimmer switch! So, if you’re reading this note and happen to control the lights at your otherwise magnificent venue (for which we are eternally grateful and couldn’t do our jobs without you), please consider our plea: can we somehow put the finishing touch on your already beautiful space by turning the lights down? #SunglassesAtNight #StLouis #TalentAttraction
