You shouldn't care about the job titles. If you want to become a data scientist, doesn't necessarily mean you'll have that title. I have been : - Data Analyst - System Analyst - Product Analyst - Data Specialist - Data Scientist - BI Engineer It's about what you are doing and how you're showing an impact.
Mark Eltsefon, I don't have a title. I may use one on occasion in my communications, but it varies depending on who I talk too. Can be AI scientist, entrepreneur, investor, CEO, COO, Managing Partner, AI Disruptive Leader, AI Influencer, Founder, the list goes on. Likewise, I don't have a "job" in the classic sense and no longer have a resume.
This is really good to know. Would love to hear more about your journey. Always so inspiring and reassuring!
Strong agree. I’ve fallen into the trap myself. I’ve been: - Data Analyst - Data Scientist - Manager - Supervisor - Reporting Analyst - Testing Analyst In the past I thought the job titles defined me. They never did.
Mark Eltsefon I would agree 💯
Good insight and strong agree.
Well said Mark
Mark Eltsefon, great shout.
True! I was doing data science before I became one. 🤌
True, wish companies didn’t make it a big deal or affect your pay if you’re not given the specific job title.
Data Analyst | Business Problem Solver | Business Analyst | Data Analytics | Business Analytics | Remote Work | SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), Python, Power BI, Excel
3moThat's so true. Titles are very specific to a company and one should focus more on the actual task they need to perform in a certain role, Mark Eltsefon
