🌾 Are We Leaving Too Much to Chance? 🌾 Imagine this: it’s Christmas, the table’s set, everyone’s gathered, and then a topic comes up—“What happens if something happens to Mum or Dad?” The room goes silent, and suddenly, it’s not the turkey getting carved—it’s the family harmony. 🦃💔 Too often, I hear stories of rural families assuming “it’ll all just work out.” But here’s the truth: hope isn’t a plan. 🎯 Families like yours have worked hard to build something incredible, yet without a proper plan, it’s like leaving the gate open on the paddock—anything can wander in and wreak havoc. 🐑💨 Take Jack and Sue, for instance. They’d built a thriving grazing property, but when Jack suddenly passed, the lack of clear direction caused months of heartache. The kids were at odds, and Sue felt overwhelmed. If only they’d had that chat before it was too late. 💬 The Solution? Let’s make sure your family isn’t left scrambling. It starts with a cuppa and a chat—no stress, no judgment, just a clear pathway forward. 📅 Book a no-obligation, 30-minute meeting today 👉 https://lnkd.in/g77rXpqW Your family’s story deserves a happy ending—not a dramatic cliffhanger. Let’s get it sorted. 🌟 #RuralSuccessionSolutions #FarmLife #FamilyHarmony #EstatePlanning #SuccessionPlanning #AustralianAgriculture 🚜🌾

The Importance of Empathy in Our Actions Taking others' things without their knowledge is also stealing. It sounds simple, but many people today don't see the difference. I had to explain this to my child recently: no matter how much you like something or how beautiful it is, if it’s not yours, you shouldn’t take it. This lesson reminded me of a conversation with a team maintaining a set of farms that belong to different owners. They told me that despite being asked not to enter others' farms, some people just can't resist taking produce they didn’t grow. These people are often financially strong and can afford to buy more land, but they don’t consider the hard work and dedication behind that yield. <<sensitive alert ⚠️>> This lack of empathy extends beyond farms. A counselor I know pointed out how some people pursue others' spouses for pleasure, ignoring the care and sacrifices that go into building a loving family. Once things are broken, in most cases, the ones who suffer are the kids. We need to put ourselves in others' shoes and understand their efforts, whether it's a farmer cultivating crops or a couple nurturing a family. Everything is connected. Let’s coexist with empathy and make our world a better place. Remember, your actions are the character and goodness within you. #Empathy #Integrity #Respect #CharacterBuilding #LifeLessons #Community #Humanity #PersonalGrowth

🌾 "The Stories We Don’t Want Told" 🌾 Imagine this: We're sitting on the verandah with a cuppa ☕, watching the kids play by the dam. The conversation turns serious. Uncle Jack's story pops up—how his family’s farm was torn apart because no one planned ahead. It was heartbreaking 💔, but you think, “That won’t happen to us.” Will it? It’s easy to avoid the hard conversations until it’s too late. Mum and Dad might feel like they’ll always be there, but the truth is, plans need to be in place before life throws a curveball. 🎯 🎤 Here’s a story: One family I worked with had put off succession planning for years. When Dad had a health scare, everyone panicked. There were arguments, misunderstandings, and the kids weren’t sure what their futures held. When they finally sat down with me, they admitted they wished they’d started earlier. Today? They’re all still mates who come together every Christmas 🎄 as a united family. 💬 Here’s your takeaway: Don’t wait for the perfect moment—it doesn’t exist. Start the conversation today. A 30-minute chat can open doors you didn’t even know were locked. 👉 Click the link and book your free chat now: https://lnkd.in/g77rXpqW ✅ Let’s make sure your story is one of harmony, not heartbreak. 💡 Your family. I grew up in this kind of lifestyle and am working to get such kind of lifestyle— this is authentic life. There are two spiritual dangers in not owning a farm. One is the danger of supposing that breakfast comes from the grocery, and the other that heat comes from the furnace 😁 A farm includes the passion of the farmer's heart, the interest of the farm's customers, the biological activity in the soil, the pleasantness of the air about the farm -- it's everything touching, emanating from, and supplying that piece of landscape. A farm is virtually a living organism. The tragedy of our time is that cultural philosophies and market realities are squeezing life's vitality out of most farms. And that is why the average farmer is now 60 years old. But- There’s generation that’s working hard to make sure we don’t loose touch with life — I am the generation—and nothing beats this kind of life. I call it authentic living. I once read that— Serfdom just doesn't attract the best and brightest. I am a village girl. #farmlife

Friends, I invite you to take 30 minutes of your day to make an impact on the future of our health. If you spend any time in Lake Nona - live, work or even play - you are now eligible to participate in our Life Project. It's a very simple online survey that took me about 30 minutes to complete. All of your information is protected. The purpose is to study our lifestyle behaviors over the next several decades and eventually crack the code on what keeps us well. Many of us spend so much time trying to figure out how we can give back - to our friends and family, our communities, our kids and our schools. As I age and look around me, it's abundantly clear that nothing is more important than our health. Nothing. So how incredible might it be if this simple annual survey can gather enough research and findings that the impacts might have global impacts on our children, grandchildren and beyond. That's the pursuit. Will you join me and make an impact? Sign up today: https://lnkd.in/eGXzGpJ8 https://lnkd.in/e2rCDACC

Sanctuary Commitment: Growth & Change 🍂 The Sanctuary model is guided by Eight Commitments that act as a set of trauma-countering values to help communities become safer and more able to care for one another. One of these Eight Commitments is Growth & Change. Change is an inherent part of life, but as humans we also seek comfort and security – which can lead us to closing parts of ourselves and becoming stagnant. So, what do we need to change to keep growing and promote growth in others? Watch this video narrated by Cameron Burgess. Find out more about the Sanctuary model here https://lnkd.in/gpVEi7aF #sanctuarymodel #workplaceculture
