In a stunning development, Mustafa Suleyman and Karén Simonyan, the co-founders of the highly respected AI startup Inflection AI, have joined Microsoft to lead the company's newly formed consumer AI division, Microsoft AI. Suleyman, known for his role as a co-founder of DeepMind (acquired by Google in 2014), will serve as EVP and CEO of Microsoft AI, while Simonyan, a celebrated AI researcher, will take on the role of Chief Scientist.
