This post is about change and how we need to embrace change. The biggest rivalry in world rugby is between the Springboks (South Africa) and the All Blacks (New Zealand). These are two colossal rugby playing nations who have dominated over the years. Those of you who know the history of South Africa will understand why there are so many All Blacks supporters especially in Cape Town. Pre 1994 supporting any nation who played against the Springboks was a sign of resistance against the apartheid’s regime. Post 1994 sports, especially rugby has united the “rainbow” nation and the current support across the various codes of sports is testament of how a nation has changed. Today, the world is a different place especially in South Africa. Major change happens moment to moment — economically, environmentally, sociologically, politically, and organizationally. Given all this, we need to re-wire ourselves to be more comfortable with and open to change; we need to become more change-capable even if it does take 30 years. https://lnkd.in/dWhsAbQf
