Second chance to WIN a Fortnum & Mason hamper worth over £100…
So, we promised there would be TWO chances to enter the competition we are hosting at the IRRVSpring Conference and Exhibition.
As an exhibitor, we are giving away not one but two Fortnum & Mason hampers worth more than £100 each and all you need to do to get involved is visit stand 9 and hand over your business card.
Ok, so we know it’s not the 90’s and that some people no longer have a business card, and that’s why there’s an alternative. Simply come to the stand and scan our QR code.
We will then choose a winner at random from those that have entered before the show ends on Friday 17 May.
Don’t miss out, make sure to come along… after all what have you got to lose? Even if you don’t win, you get to meet our incredible team!
Finally, if you would like to hear more about why we are attending the event and what you can expect from us, visit our blog post here: https://lnkd.in/egXU7g4x
Terms and conditions: entries will close at 11am on Friday 17 May with the winner chosen at random. The winner will be contacted and asked to collect the hamper from stand 9 before the event closes.

The impact of incremental revenue cannot be understated in the event space.
Usage of inventory features like Seat level pricing (SLP) and platinum have been integral to this incremental revenue strategy. Especially in non-traditional events like international tournaments, celebrity matches, concerts, etc.
Newer features like SLP and platinum are an entirely new way to price inventory than they’re used to. It took some convincing internally with client partners and clients to initially adopt. Clients trusted their client partners and our product team to deliver.
The results speak for themselves 👏🏼
Congrats to our partners at Texas A&M for their incredible success in generating incremental revenue with nontraditional events. We are proud to be a part of it! https://bit.ly/4csAJXm

Coming back from the amazing American Organization for Nursing Leadership conference I was thinking about live demos and the best I'd ever seen.
In the end, one stands above all others...and its not from Steve Jobs!
But first, you have to understand 'there are levels to this'.
* Slick Demo Video w/o showing the product - This is the equivalent of an AI produced song, even if it's good, it's a little soul-less (unfortunately seems popular in some corners of healthcare).
Its like a Milli Vanilli recording: Girl You Know Its True..but actually its not.
** The Demo Video Opening - to do these well you have to do the equivalent of a great TV ad. They are inspiring and set the tone, but for a great demo of your product, but are not enough alone. The one from google linked below is one of the best ever. Its reminiscent of the seeing the output of a great producer (Dre).
***The MC Demo - Steve Jobs is the pinnacle; he would take you on a journey as his team clicked through the product. Often the best version of a demo to a general audience. It's real product with a guide to what you are seeing and does allow you to fake your way through rough parts (famously done for the first iPhone video). Some of my best memories are of watching this style of demo at Dreamforce. (h/t Dan DarcyKraig Swensrud )
For many this is the pinnacle - like a great concert from a singer like Beyonce or Taylor. And I'm supportive if you feel that way.
But for me, the top of the mountain is further.
**** The Live Show - There is something different about a live demo w/ no one else but you and the product. Many recommend against doing this. It's dangerous, what if there is a problem, it's hard to talk & navigate at the same time.
This is exactly why it's the top of the art form. Anxiety creates excitement.
For the presenter & audience - when it comes together - you are bonded in a moment together.

The greatest demo of all time is widely known as the best Super Bowl Halftime of all time. Prince playing purple rain, in the rain, is ****electric****.
https://lnkd.in/detg-Kne
For years, he even fought against it being online because it was a shared moment. We may never reach the levels of Prince - but to strive for epic is the inspiration we seek to convey with new technology. It's exposing publicly the risk and amazement innovation carries for all of society.
In the land of AI, it's more important than ever we embrace transparency - even when it's a little scary.

Diving into the world of networking as a student has been like stepping onto a lively dance floor—it's both challenging and exhilarating. Mingling with individuals from diverse industries is a delightful yet tricky performance, an art form I'm still perfecting. Engaging in spontaneous conversations at these events is a rollercoaster of difficulty and enjoyment.
Initially, networking felt like entering a maze where approaching seasoned professionals seemed like a daunting task. The fear of stumbling over words or lagging in conversations created a mental roadblock. Yet, as I pushed past these initial hesitations and ventured beyond my comfort zone, a transformative realization unfolded—the power of active listening.
Active listening, beyond merely hearing words, became my secret weapon. It's the key to unlocking rapport, forging connections, and mining insights from others' experiences in the networking realm. Excited to sharpen my active listening skills, I look forward to weaving meaningful connections in the vibrant professional tapestry on LinkedIn and beyond! Let's connect and embark on this journey of mutual discovery !
