Test Your Knowledge by Explaining It to a Friend!! #learningbyexplaning This method might seem old but gold. Yesterday, while talking to my friends, they asked me about marketing automation - what is it about? FYI, my friends are non-tech and work in language education in Vietnam. This was a perfect opportunity to test my understanding and refine my knowledge of marketing automation. I explained to them: “Marketing automation helps manage and optimize tasks automatically so marketers don’t need to spend much time on manual work. It uses software to send personalized messages and ads to customers based on their behavior and preferences.” I gave them an example of Lazada e-commerce (one of the biggest and most popular e-commerce platforms in Vietnam, and my friends are also customers): When you visit Lazada and browse for a moisturizer, but only add it to your shopping cart, Lazada takes note of your interest and behavior. The next day, they send you a push notification about the moisturizer, along with similar products or skincare accessories like cotton pads. If you still don’t purchase it, you may always see the moisturizer while browsing Lazada. They could even send you special discounts for the product. Lazada also shows targeted ads on social media platforms, reminding you about the product frequently. This might make you feel like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are "listening" to you, but it’s all part of a well-planned strategy. That’s briefly marketing automation in action. After my explanation, my friends said, “Ồ ra là thế, tao tưởng Lazada núp gầm giường nhà tao” (Oh, I see now. I thought Lazada was hiding under my bed to know what I want to buy). Hearing their response made me happy because I was able to actively recall my knowledge and my friends understood the concept of marketing automation.

This tool provides a breakdown of estimated impressions based on bid adjustments. It allows advertisers to test various bid levels and predict how these might influence campaign reach.
