Thinking of selling your vacation home? The tax bill and other costs may surprise you, such as having to pay income taxes on all of the depreciation you may have taken over the years. A big gain can also cause your Medicare premiums to go up and make you eligible for the 4% millionaire’s tax (if the home is in Massachusetts).
