Laser service maintenance - day 2. - 22 lasers checked - 3 manufacturers - no major failures obtained The 2nd day of our laser service marathon succesfully accomplished. For our customer we are maintain not only marking laser in their factory but also for their suppliers which are using our lasers as standard. Based on todays activities we found some lasers which after years of production have lost some part of its output power but without proffesional tools can not be seen and risk of production stop raises every month. This process can assure that every laser gets needed service before it will fails. The customer is trained to keep the lenses clean in order to avoid the glass-crack and provide as good quality marking as possible. Most of the cases were O.K. but we found some imperfections on the one lense before this can cost more money than just new lens.
