Employee recognition is a lost art that we must bring back to the forefront. Disconnect between employers and employees often leads to a lack of understanding of how to recognize them. It's important to remember that not everyone wants the same accolades. Some ideas to try include hand-written thank you notes, lunch with the boss, flowers, favorite candy, or a simple thank you when delivering paychecks. What are your favorite ways to recognize or be recognized? Let's start a conversation! #employeerecognition #appreciation #employeeappreciation

I agree Mark….affirmation and recognition are important to most and so easy to deliver in a variety of ways.

Thanks for starting this conversation. I believe more training is needed in this area. The leader needs to have awareness ( I see you) and understanding of their team, and deliver recognition genuinely. In a remote environment I give verbal high fives, public great job in our communication channels, random you are killing it, and various gifts. The energy generated with consistent feedback is priceless.

Gifts are always my favorite! Tiffany business gifts are a brilliant way to celebrate your best and brightest. Whether it’s to recognize a significant service milestone, reward extraordinary achievement, make a meeting memorable, or just simply celebrate the season, the legendary Blue Box delivers a distinctive message and shows how much you value their contribution! ❤️ #employeerecognition

Yes I agree a lost art! Too little to late when you lose an employee and spent time and money training that individual. Take the time necessary Do not lose sight each day, point out the good behaviors that the employee has demonstrated and praise in front of your entire team, involve everyone with wins!!!
