6 years ago, we started a #foundersonly dinner series focused on bringing incredible people together to discuss the wins, challenges, opportunities and lessons learned from starting and building world-changing companies. I’ve been able to build Care+Wear with guidance and help from many of these founders. Since then, my good friend Morgan Hirsh has been a frequent visitor and contributor, sharing loads of wisdom from his journey. Several months ago, he asked me if we could build the same community in Miami and last night, we were proud to co-host our first #foundersonly founders dinner in Miami. The founders were so engaged and helpful and loved our discussions on (sorry Vegas rules where what happens at dinner stays there!). Today begins a new era of Roundtrip! Founder 🚐 Mark Switaj (He/Him) ⛑ has been appointed to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, while Sam Farmer, former Roundtrip Chief Operating Officer, will be succeeding him as CEO. Over the last 7+ years, we have always stayed true to Mark’s vision: make transportation logistics simple, so vulnerable populations are always able access the healthcare they need. Since joining Roundtrip in 2019, Sam has been integral in the company’s success and is the perfect fit to continue to carry the torch in the years to come. We also have several key updates to its leadership team, including Chrisna Govin as Chief Customer Officer (CCO), Tina Mullin as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and Brian Ryther as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
