Quality of Hire is the most important metric when bringing in new people! I recently conducted a poll asking what is the most important metric when making a senior hire. The resounding majority (89%) voted for the quality of the hire. Only 6% thought it was cost per hire. Yet the number of insurance businesses routinely pushing for a rate reduction for permanent hiring is growing. I get it. Everyone is looking to trim the fat right now, but is sacrificing the quality of your next tech or transformation leader the way to do it? You can be the judge of that. 4moMark Thomas Mark, nice article! Let me very honest! Do you really think people in Britain deliver by themselves? Yes, they are good at talking, but I have never seen them deliver anything! How do you judge someone's quality when they don't deliver but just talk all the time in the meeting or email at the max? Delivery comes via high skilled contractors or offshore!
