Other residents dread the industry’s return. They worry about truck traffic, noise and the threat of new contamination. A state investigation concluded that faulty gas wells drilled by Coterra’s corporate predecessor, Cabot Oil & Gas, had allowed methane to leak uncontrolled into the community’s aquifer. By developing multiple zones within a single package, EOG can streamline facility construction processes. How did a major operator in Norway save approximately $3.3M in one year with offshore wastewater disposal? 🌊⬇️ ✔️ Challenge: high volumes of wastewater (slop) were being generated on large, modern, closed-drain rigs ✔️ Solution: Halliburton recommended BaraH2O® slop unit, an engineered solution for point-of-origin waste treatment at the rig site ✔️ Result: saved the operator approximately $3.3M in net onshore treatment cost, sent 98% less volume of slop to shore for storage, treatment, and disposal, and treated a slop volume of 17,961 m3 offshore for a single rig Nice work, Baroid! State Sunlight-Long Well Pad (part of Lowry Ranch Project) As of May 31, Arapahoe County Commissioners have received a total of 115 emails concerning the State Sunlight-Long Well Pad Application Case AE24-004 as part of the Lowry Ranch Project. In 2023, the Board of County Commissioners amended the County’s oil and gas regulations twice. These amendments are geared to provide further community protections from oil and gas operations. The County now requires one-mile setbacks from existing and planned reservoirs and a 3,000 feet setback from existing and planned reservoirs when downgradient conditions can be demonstrated. Oil and gas applications submitted to the County go through a robust review by multiple County departments and divisions, appropriate fire districts, and the County’s Office of Emergency Management.  Additional information about the Lowry Ranch project can be found at https://lnkd.in/d3aAp-6g.  

Larto & Forster#1 - Second Load of crude sold - Get into our next 3 wells We have sold another load of crude oil, and we still have about 80 barrels in the tanks, so we will most likely sell two loads here in July for payment at the end of September. Despite some weather-related challenges in Texas and Louisiana, progress is quietly underway. Our work on Missiana #13 continues, with the gas line already laid to power our engine and a new oil flow line to our processing facilities. We are awaiting our excavator to move our Plato from well #10 to #13, as the former is rusted and unsafe for heavy equipment. Simultaneously, we plan to dig up the road to the field and build two side dams to prevent flooding during heavy rain. We anticipate active production on #13 soon, which will add to our daily revenue. Following this, we will commence work on the DC#1 well, the final well in this project.
