John Hearns, senior vice president of the hotel company’s residential operations, adds, “When the hotel is open and owners are living in the building, they provide meaningful revenue—they’re eating in the restaurants, they’re using the spa.”

Ontario-based Vrancor Group has acquired the 232-room Radisson Hotel & Suites in Niagara Falls with plans to undertake a comprehensive renovation and relaunch. The property is now closed but is expected to reopen under the IHG Hotels and Resorts voco brand, reported Canadian Facility Management & Design. "The hotel sits on a large site near Horseshoe Falls, the Niagara Falls Convention Centre, Fallsview Casino and the Skylon Tower, and also accommodates two restaurants in leased space.
