Letchworth-headquartered construction company Willmott Dixon has been chosen by Westminster City Council to undertake a £36m restoration project in Marylebone.

We're excited to share our work on the extensive refurbishment and structural upgrade of 13-27 Manners Street, a landmark office tower in the heart of Wellington. Our team, led by the Technical Director of Structural Engineering, Dr. Amir Moshref, has developed a state-of-the-art retrofit solution using Performance-Based Engineering (PBE) principles. Our PBE approach focuses on specific performance objectives, enabling us to surpass the current New Building Standard (NBS). The upgrade features the installation of 90 dampers, each capable of resisting 200 tonnes of force, to minimize building movement during seismic events.
