Love-based support is essential for each of us, from the first steps to the whole journey through life. Especially, during challenges or difficult times that come into our lives sometimes gradually and sometimes rapidly. As a mother of four children myself, I can confirm that isolation is real. As parents or caregivers, I believe that we should teach our children as early as possible that emotions are real. Thus, they will be able to identify and express their feelings and ask for support as needed. Would love to see more curricula centered on parenting, communication, leadership, emotions, etc. which all could be linked to history, science, math, or language classes. What are your thoughts or comments?
"No one tells you about the loneliness" – Jocelyn, Carya Participant Parenting can often feel isolating. Carya offers a wide range of programs for parents of young children to promote bonding, connection and family functioning, equipping parents and caregivers with the knowledge and techniques needed for a strong start. All donations made before August 31st are eligible to be matched up to 50% through Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink. Your contribution will help provide barrier-free early childhood parenting programs, giving children and their families the best start in life. Visit https://lnkd.in/e5Ced2P5 and donate today! I work with nonprofits to get buy in and belonging to do the right fundraising strategies and raise more revenue.
I’ve received over 10 messages from Save The Children just this week. This is your reminder that donors need 7-10 impressions to take action. So if you think you are sending too many, you probably aren’t. Most giving happens in the last three days of the year Segment your list, tell stories of impact, and make a clear call to action. Let the generosity flow! #yearendgiving #nonprofitfundraising

Starting today, early giving for #SOLAGivingDay is underway, and your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of children across South Louisiana. With summer break approaching, many families are faced with a concerning question: Without school meals, how will we feed our kids? In South Louisiana, one in seven families and one in five children experience food insecurity. This isn't just a statistic—it's a reality that's hitting close to home. Second Harvest is gearing up to tackle this surge in hunger by doubling our efforts to feed children during these critical months. But this effort isn't something we can achieve alone—we need you. By donating early to #SOLAGivingDay, you can provide a lifeline to those families who won't receive additional help this summer. Imagine this—every single dollar you contribute can help provide three wholesome meals. That's the power of #SOLAGiving in action! Don't wait until May 2 to join us in ensuring no child goes hungry this summer. Give now at https://lnkd.in/gTsWD6Y4 #NOSUMMERHUNGER #FeedTheFuture #SOLAGivingDay

Every child deserves a chance to shine! There are many ways to show your compassion and give back to children in need through Child Care Institutions 👇🏻 1) Volunteer your time and talents: CCIs often need help with a variety of tasks such as mentoring, caregiving, tutoring, organizing activities and even administrative tasks. 2) Be a Voice for Change: Raise awareness about CCIs and the needs of the children they serve. Spread the word on social media, talk to your friends and family. 3) Help Fill a Need: CCIs often have wish lists for essential items like clothing, school supplies, toys, or hygiene products. Donate what they truly need. 4) Give the Gift of Opportunity: Donate directly to a specific CCI or a national organization supporting them. Every bit helps! Every contribution, big or small, can make a real difference in a child's life. #makeadifference #supportchildcareinstitutions #pact

🌟 Today is the Day of Hope! 🌟 "When all is lost, hope is all we have." These powerful words resonate deeply, especially when we consider the millions of children around the world facing unimaginable challenges. On this Day of Hope, we stand together to champion the rights and well-being of every child. ✨ History of the Day: Today's observance was championed by Yvonne Fedderson and Sara O'Meara, founders of the non-profit organization Childhelp. Their mission? To fight for the welfare of children worldwide and ensure that every child knows they are not alone. 🤝 Our Responsibility: Research shows that children who have endured abuse or neglect are at risk of a range of negative outcomes. But more than statistics, it's a reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and nurture the next generation. 💙 How You Can Help: Today, let's take action. Whether it's volunteering, donating, or spreading awareness, every effort counts. Together, we can provide hope, support, and a brighter future for children in need. #DayOfHope #ChildWelfare #CommunityEngagement
