Are investor SFR purchases rebounding? Redfin's analysis shows a modest gain in investor purchases in Q2 (see chart). In about two dozen conversations with folks in the industry over the past two weeks, it's starting to feel to me like folks are getting back to work on acquisitions, though perhaps I'm overly optimistic since I'm hoping to see that. How does the market feel to you? Are we at that point? Or is this just the market bouncing around at the bottom of the volume curve? #SFR #realestate

While values per transaction showed an increase (there were a couple of larger deals), we are still seeing the steady impact of market conditions, the spread between “bid” and “ask”, and lower appetite for acquisitions.
