How would you rate your business for commitment and intent? I was in some of the early planning meetings at Wiper and True (that’s where my involvement starts and ends I can take no credit for the end result) around launching alcohol free beers. The intention was clear, to take the time and resource needed to make them world class. We’ve all been in those meetings when lofty ambitions fill the room and everyone gets excited then slowly, over time, without anyone really knowing why, that energy and focus wanes. I watched as no stone was left unturned to make the dream as amongst a reality as, amongst many other things a new piece of kit was sought out and we became the first people in the UK to have it up and running. The intention was still there from the original meeting. There was then a key point of commitment, what to call the Pale Ale when it launched? Should it be an alcohol-free version of Kaleidoscope the flagship beer or something else in case it was perhaps seen as “lesser” because of the alcohol-free aspect? The decision was made to call it Kaleidoscope – a clear commitment to achieving the standards originally set out and confidence that everyone working on the project was intent on operating to that level. Many, many months later and Wiper and True have just scooped awards for Kaleidoscope and Tomorrow at the world alcohol free awards. A reward not only for all the hard work, but the commitment and intent by everyone involved to achieving that goal. Congratulations to Michael Wiper everyone at Wiper and True involved. As you come up for air at the end of the first quarter (a good thing to do), how strong is the commitment and intent within your business to achieving the goals you perhaps set at the beginning of the year? Honestly? Perhaps it’s time for a reappraisal of how well you are building a high-performance culture.
We make award-winning alcohol-free beers. At Wiper and True we set out last year to create the best alcohol-free beers on the market. So I am extremely happy to announce that we've won 2 awards at this year’s World Alcohol-Free Awards. Our 0.5% Kaleidoscope - launched just three months ago - has won a gold medal, and our alcohol-free lager Tomorrow received a bronze medal. To be recognised by an expert panel out of hundreds of products from across the world is a huge achievement for our team.

Soda is NOT a non-alcoholic drink alternative at events. Why are other attendees getting fancy cocktails and wine, and why am I getting de-clogging liquid? Give me amazing looking mocktails and zero-alcohol beer like Heineken, Peroni, Stella, or Athletic Brewing. I want all four flavors available! ______________________________ Don’t get me wrong. I am fine keeping alcohol at events. Sometimes I drink alcohol. Most times I don’t. / If I spent thousands to attend, I expect zero alcohol alternatives for adults, not kids. Even free to attend events are doing a better job. / Some venues are taking advantage of the no-alcohol movement and charging event planners more for mocktails than cocktails. Do better! ‘It’s just details, Julius. Come on!’ Great events are about details, my friend. Should we include those who don’t drink at events?

Did you know that mocktails are similar to zero proof drinks/cocktials? Zero proof cocktails are specifically made to mimic the taste and complexity of alcoholic cocktails using specially engineered non-alcoholic spirits, while mocktails are alcoholic cocktail recipes without the alcohol. Offering sophisticated zero proof cocktails at events can significantly enhance the guest experience by providing inclusive options that cater to all attendees, regardless of their drinking preferences. It demonstrates attention to detail and commitment to inclusivity, making everyone feel valued and part of the celebration. How can you incorporate Zero-proof drinks into your next event? Connect with me to explore the world of zero-proof drinks! Let CSI DMC make your next event unforgettable. 🥂 Remember, it’s not just about the drinks—it’s about creating moments that resonate. Cheers! 🎉🍹 #EventPlanning #Mocktails #ZeroProofDrinks #InclusiveEvents #EventTrends #CSIDMC
