Confusing "Candidate Flow" for "Quality Candidates?" You're not alone...It's easy in today's IT Market to look at the number of candidates applying and assume the best and most talented are there somewhere but peeling back the raw numbers reveal a much different picture. If you're committed to hiring A players and who can afford B or C players when you get 1 role when you needed 3, you better be certain your Talent Acquisition strategy includes Recruiters that actually Recruit! Recruiting is a Contact Sport my friends. If you aren't making cold calls; aren't getting referrals from people you've placed and leveraging relationships you've developed, you're simply screening candidate flow in hopes of getting lucky.
