In this week’s #FocusForwardWisdom, we are excited to share a NEW micro-credentialing course in collaboration with our Consulting Partner Maia McGill and the Inclusive Philanthropy Institute. Transformational Grant Writing Through a Race-Based Lens September 4, 11, and 18 Early bird registration for this 3-week course begins July 15 CFRE Points and Digital Completion Badge Available Over three weeks, learners will examine the intersections of equity, impact, and sustainability in grant writing, with emphasis on addressing systemic inequities. Through a blend of theoretical learning, the review of grant proposal case studies, and a grant writing exercise, learners will develop an understanding of how to center race within an asset-based framework devoid of deficit framing, tokenization, and saviorism. Learners will also receive necessary tools to help craft grants that foster collaboration between their institutions and the communities they serve.
