Missed posting yesterday, so here’s a combined update! With college starting back up after Diwali break, study time is a bit limited, but still making progress. 📚✨ #Day12 and 13: • Solved a few questions from the greedy section of Striver’s A-Z DSA Sheet. 🧩 • Completed my Netflix clone project! 🍿💻 • Watched a UI/UX video of Cohort 3, learning foundational principles and design rules. 🎨 • Revised Web3 concepts: public/private key pairs, HD wallets, and seed phrases. 🔑 Staying consistent, even on busier days! 🚀 #100DaysOfCode #LearningInPublic #NetflixClone #Web3 #UIUX #DSA #Consistency #WebDevelopment

Winning Best UI/UX in my first hackathon at Technica'24 by Indian Society for Technical Education! (1/2) This thrilling 48-hour hybrid hackathon experience with over 2,000 registrants started with a case of hackathon FOMO. After a lot of hesitation, I felt it was high time I participated in my first Hackathon. We (Ameya Kore on backend/AI/ML, Sayar Bhattacharyya on frontend, and me on UI/UX & presentations) decided to tackle the AI track and create something special. While the full implementation wasn't possible in such a short time, our focus on a stellar UI/UX resonated with the judges! More about the product in the next post! #hackathon #uiux #saas #productdesign

Big things are happening at Jux.io We're gradually shifting from Alpha to the next stage, moving from stealth into a quiet launch, and it's really exciting to see how far we've come. So hats off to the Jux squad! A small example of this progress is that, until now, you could work only on one code-based canvas in Jux, but now you can add more to stay organized. Yes, it seems elementary, and it is a standard for the user, yet when it's not a vector-based canvas the challenges on the technical side to make it work are immense. Our mission at Jux is simple: empower designers to create production-ready experiences, while keeping developers in their natural habitat. And for my developer friends - we didn’t forget you. Jux is not a no-code tool, but has a yes-code devtool advantage. So we’re working on what we call Jux toolkit - an open-source, utility first zero runtime css-in-js framework to support managing UI elements right within the codebase, and I’ll share more on it soon. We’re gradually rolling it out, and you can be among the first to test-drive Jux’s latest capabilities before our open launch. DM me if relevant.

We won the Gadget hackathon award for the best Customer Account UI Extension — a truly brilliant win by a great team of three at Codup. Building great products is much more than quality coding, great ideas, or terrific user experiences. Yes, these things matter, but you have to have a mindset and a discipline to how you make it. Making decisions mid-sprint, choosing the harder route to save time, keeping the problem you are trying to solve at the center of your thought process. This hackathon got the best out of our star man, Muhammad Fahmeed Qayyum —— he was doubtful before he started, but I didn’t give him a pep talk, or too many motivational speeches, I just asked him to go in and do his best. He did it because he is a wonderful developer, and he did it because he has the discipline that is needed to be a wonderful developer. More often than not, all we need to do something to achieve great results is get down to the core of who we are and how we work, everything else follows through. Of course, he had the support of the whole product team, and his very talented teammates on the business side; Huda Rauf and Maria Ilyas. Great win guys — proud of you all!

Completed the UI/UX Hackathon: Temple -1🎉 Temple by Sir Fahad Khan and Sir Ali Aftab Sheikh , I’m excited to share that I’ve successfully completed this project, even if it’s a late submission. Yes, it took time, but every line of code and design element is 100% self-made. I had the option to copy-paste code, but I chose to embrace the challenge and put in the hard work. Because this hackathon is not just about meeting deadlines or competing; it’s about polishing our skills, learning, and growing as developers. The real reward is in the journey—figuring out the problems, experimenting with solutions, and knowing that everything you’ve created is your own. This mindset might take more effort and time, but the satisfaction is unmatched. To anyone participating in similar challenges, I’d say: trust the process, push your limits, and keep learning. Your hard work and honesty will always set you apart. Here’s to many more opportunities for growth! 🚀 Hackathon by Ameen Alam
